Warshaw Burstein’s Eric Wrubel Elected President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, New York Chapter

Eric Wrubel, Chair of the Matrimonial Group and Co-Chair of the Fertility Law Group, was elected President of the New York Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers at its annual meeting on January 26, 2023.
Mr. Wrubel, who has been a fellow of the AAML since 2005, and served as President-elect in 2022, will serve a two-year term as President. During his time as President-elect, he re-envisioned the AAML, which was also launched this week.
Mr. Wrubel said, “It is an honor to be the President of the New York Chapter of the AAML and I look forward leading this fellowship for the next two years as we evolve into an organization that reflects the times and values of the next generation of matrimonial lawyers.”

The AAML was founded in 1962, by highly regarded domestic relations attorneys “to provide leadership that promotes the highest degree of professionalism and excellence in the practice of family law.”
