01/24/2023
Warshaw Burstein today announced that its team, including Michael Zukerman, of counsel in the Real Estate Group, Chaya Shafran, counsel in the Real Estate Group, and Corporate Group partners Steve Semian and Brian Daughney, represented a Virginia-based owner in the refinancing of the former Temple Emanuel building, as well as the adjacent lot at 1770 Sherman Street, in the North Capitol Hill area of Denver.

Fairbridge Asset Management was the lender for $8.1 million in additional financing for the Denver property.

The former Temple Emanuel is a historic building. The owner intends to develop a high-rise residence on the site using the former Temple Emanuel as a support building. It is located in North Capitol Hill, or Uptown, which is a popular, growing residential area.
