Leron Thumim Promoted to Partner at Warshaw Burstein in Litigation Group

Warshaw Burstein, LLP announced Leron Thumim has been promoted to partner in the Litigation Group.

“We are delighted to promote Leron to partner,” Frederick R. Cummings, Jr., Managing Partner of Warshaw Burstein, said. “He has made valuable contributions to the firm since he joined us in May 2021, including in our growing securities litigation practice, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with him in his new role.”

Mr. Thumim is a general commercial litigator with a broad-based practice encompassing disputes involving securities fraud, market manipulation, trademarks, commercial real estate, post-employment restrictive covenants, breaches of contract and fiduciary duty, class actions, alleged sexual harassment and ADA violations, prioritization of secured liens, and the Stored Communications Act. Mr. Thumim represents clients through all phases of arbitration, internal investigations, and general commercial litigation.

Mr. Thumim has taught Continuing Legal Education courses on a variety of topics central to his practice, including “Litigation Issues in Contract Drafting” and “Ethics and E-Discovery.” Mr. Thumim was named to Best Lawyers’ “Ones to Watch” in 2023 and 2024, was a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” from 2018 to 2022 and was named a “Super Lawyer” in 2023 and 2024.

Mr. Thumim served as a clerk for Hon. Shira A. Scheindlin, in the Southern District of New York. He earned his B.A. from Cornell University and his J. D. from New York University School of Law.
