Law360: Sports Media Co. CEO Will Pay $250K To End SEC Fraud Suit

Warshaw Burstein LLP partner and chair of the corporate and securities law group, Martin S. Siegel, represented the defendant in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission fraud lawsuit.

"Icaro Media Group's CEO has agreed to pay $250,000 to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to resolve claims that he used the company to fraudulently raise $22 million from investors through a false narrative about the planned launch of a sports media smartphone application.

"Paul Feller agreed to the $250,000 civil monetary penalty and a two-year officer-and-director bar as part of a settlement with the SEC, according to a final judgment entered against him Friday."
