Warshaw Burstein Attorneys Support a Successful 2026 Senior Law Day in Westchester County
10/29/2026Warshaw Burstein is proud to have participated in Westchester County's 2026 Senior Law Day, held Thursday, October 8, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York. This year's event welcomed more than 500 attendees and provided more than 225 free one-on-one consultations to Westchester seniors and their families.
Senior Law Day is a free annual event that connects older Westchester residents with attorneys, certified financial planners, and Medicare and geriatric care specialists. This year's program featured free workshops on Estate Planning & Elder Law, Medicaid/Medicare, Social Security, and Solo Aging, along with one-on-one consultations to help attendees plan for the future.
Following the event, the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services noted that the results "demonstrate the significant need for this type of programming and, more importantly, the meaningful impact we can make when we bring resources directly to the people who need them."
Warshaw Burstein thanks the following attorneys for sharing their knowledge and donating their time to this important community event:
-
Sarah A. Steckler, Partner and Chair of the Elder Law and Special Needs Planning Law Group
-
John E. DelGrosso, Partner
-
Samuel R. Marchese, Partner
-
Alexis R. Gruttadauria, Counsel
The attorneys who volunteered practice in the areas of Trust & Estates, Elder Law and Special Needs, Real Estate and Rent Regulatory Law.
Following Senior Law Day, the attorneys also attended the inaugural Senior Law Day Networking Social, hosted by the Senior Law Day Collaborative, with thanks to The Feller Group, P.C.
We are grateful to the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services, the Senior Law Day Collaborative, and the many community partners, service providers, and volunteers who made the day possible. We look forward to supporting Senior Law Day again next year.
