"Demystifying Home Care Medicaid" Webinar: Join Sarah Steckler as Panelist on May 15
05/08/2024Warshaw Burstein partner Sarah A. Steckler will be a distinguished panelist on Senior Law Day Collaborative's "Demystifying Home Care Medicaid: Q&A with Westchester County and a Private Attorney" webinar, which takes place on Wednesday, May 15, at 10 AM ET.
Representatives from the Westchester County Department of Social Services (DSS), R. Byrnes and M. Bryan, will introduce the Home Care or Community Medicaid application process and the services that DSS provides. Attorney Deepankar Mukerji, along with Sarah A. Steckler, will introduce the pros and cons of working with a private lawyer.
Most of the session will focus on audience questions, including how to disposition assets prior to application, tips on applying, getting Medicaid with excess income, and potential legal pitfalls.
