David Jacobson Attends Mentoring Reception For Students Interested in Pursuing Careers in Law at University of Albany
01/17/2025David Jacobson, practice leader in the Immigration and Nationality Law Group, attended a reception at his undergraduate alma mater, the State University of New York, Albany, to speak with undergraduates interested in attending law school and pursuing other careers in law.
He met with current UAlbany students and shared advice and wisdom gained from his experiences and legal career to aid them in their decision.
Mr. Jacobson focuses his practice on employment-based immigration matters for corporate clients in various industries, including financial services, media, information technology, and market research/advertising.
He advises his clients on strategies and procedures to obtain work visas and permanent residence status for their employees and potential employees. He prepares all forms of nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions including B-1/B-2, E-2, E-3, H-1B, H-3, J-1, L-1A/L-1B, O-1, P-1 (for athletes and entertainers), TN, EB-1 (all types), EB-2 (including exceptional ability), EB-3 petitions, and PERM applications.
