Warshaw Burstein Promotes Corporate Attorney and Commercial Litigator Thomas Filardo to Equity Partner

Mr. Filardo represents clients in a wide variety of complex commercial matters as both a trusted corporate advisor and a seasoned litigator. He takes a hands-on, creative approach and enjoys developing practical strategies to achieve client objectives.
He counsels his clients with respect to their myriad business affairs, with substantial experience guiding clients through mergers and acquisitions, financing events, expansions and diversifications. Mr. Filardo regularly assists clients in protecting their proprietary and confidential information, relationships and market share. In addition, he assists U.S.-based clients with their dealings in Asia, Europe and India, and advises international clients with respect to their U.S. operations. Mr. Filardo serves as outside general counsel to a number of entities.
Mr. Filardo’s extensive litigation experience includes state and federal court practice, arbitrations, mediations and appeals. His experience spans virtually every type of business dispute and financial industry conflict, from breaches of contract, to complex investment disputes, to intra-company disputes, to earn-out disputes. He also has substantial experience litigating professional liability, reinsurance, insurance coverage, shareholder derivative, real estate, employment matters and disputes arising under the Franchised Motor Vehicle Dealer Act and the Securities Act.
