National Space Society Names Counsel James A. Wolff to Board of Directors as At-Large Member
07/08/2024The National Space Society (NSS), the preeminent citizen's voice on space exploration, development, and settlement, recently completed elections for its Board of Directors. The society's membership comprises astronauts, scientists, engineers, educators, and space enthusiasts from around the globe, all united by a common vision of humanity's future in space. The NSS influences national policy decisions and fosters international cooperation on space exploration projects, making it a prestigious and influential entity in the global space community. The NSS also publishes the award-winning Ad Astra Magazine, which serves as its flagship quarterly periodical, and is nationally distributed and available on newsstands and in select stores. Additionally, the NSS organizes an annual space development conference featuring keynote speakers such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Jared Isaacman, and William Shatner.
Warshaw Burstein Counsel James A. Wolff has been named an "at-large" member of the board.

Wolff is a commercial space entrepreneur and serves as corporate counsel to Warshaw Burstein LLP, a tier 1 mid-market law firm located in New York City. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and earned his Juris Doctorate from the New York Law School. Wolff has worked with numerous space startups, one of which won the 2023 NASA Entrepreneurs Challenge. Wolff has been active with the NSS’s International Committee and Policy Committee.
The NSS Board of Directors is responsible for the overall supervision, control, direction, and governance of the property, activities, and affairs of the society, its committees, and its publications.
