Marvin J. Fortgang Featured Speaker at NYU Alumni Event

Marvin J. Fortgang, Partner and Chair of the Banking and Finance Law Group, recently served as a featured speaker at an alumni event for New York University.
The event was held at Bronx Community College, which was formerly NYU's University Heights (uptown) campus.
Mr. Fortgang, who attended NYU as an undergraduate student, entertained the group with stories from his time as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Heights Daily News, the NYU student newspaper.
In specific, he discussed an incident in which The New York Times assisted the Heights Daily News editors in ensuring they had a timely print issue ready for Monday after significant news developed over a weekend.
