Leron Thumim To Be Honored With Young Leadership Award by Congregation Ohr Torah in West Orange, NJ
04/29/2025Our partner, Leron Thumim, and his wife, Karen, will be honored with "Congregation Ohr Torah’s Young Leadership Award" on May 6, recognizing their dedication to their community, both at Congregation Ohr Torah and in West Orange, New Jersey.
From the invitation:
Since moving into their community, Leron and Karen "have become key pillars of our congregation, actively involved in programming, youth activities, and social events. Whether participating in our famous annual cholent cook-off, organizing the youth Hanukkah carnival, or joining in spontaneous activities like escape rooms and axe throwing, they have brought energy, warmth, and leadership to our community.
"In addition to their contributions at Ohr Torah, Leron and Karen are leaders in the greater West Orange community, volunteering with Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy and the West Orange Mountaintop League."
