Mr. Sarafan has practiced in a broad range of real estate litigation matters.  In addition to managing a high volume of non-payment and holdover proceedings, he regularly handles HP proceedings and represents clients in small claims matters before the Civil Court of the city of New York.

Prior to focusing his practice on real estate litigation, Mr. Sarafan served as general counsel to several live event production companies. In that role:

• he advised on a wide range of business and legal matters
• liaised with government agencies
• managed general liability issues
• oversaw legal aspects of public and media relations

Prior to becoming a lawyer Mr. Sarafan owned and operated his own music and art PR and marketing company and a virtual music magazine business.  Also, he spearheaded marketing and large project/personnel/social media management for live events. These experiences outside the legal profession provide Mr. Sarafan with skills he uses when he works with and advises clients.
